The limited edition ICE Adventure was launched just a few days ago and immediately stands out within the recumbent trike market. Unlike most special editions, which usually focus on color or minor component changes, this version is delivered as a fully packed, ready-to-ride package. In addition to the trike itself, it includes accessories that are rarely bundled with a recumbent, most notably a side bag and a helmet. This approach is unusual in the recumbent world, where riders typically select and purchase accessories separately.
The trike is based on the unsuspended, basic version of the Adventure platform from ICE Trikes and is finished in Metallic Matt Silver. The configuration uses a 26-inch rear wheel and 20-inch front wheels, combined with a relatively high seating position that emphasizes accessibility and stability rather than outright sport performance. This layout makes the trike suitable for touring, leisure riding, and mixed surfaces without the added complexity of suspension.
Mechanically, the limited edition is specified with a Shimano Deore 2×11 drivetrain operated by MicroShift shifters and equipped with 90 mm drum brakes. Standard equipment includes an Ergo Flow mesh seat, mudguard, pedals, mirror, flag, neck rest, and a water bottle with cage. The package is completed by an Altura Heritage side bag with mounting hardware and a Sweet Protection Seeker helmet, items that are rarely included as standard with a recumbent trike.
