Performance oriented with a need for speed. That is how I would describe Cruzbike. An American company from Massachusetts that was founded in 2005 and is now one of the leaders of the recumbent industry. Lucia Parker, Director of E-commerce, answered my questions about their 2021 season.

How was your season in general?
2021 was a great year for Cruzbike.

What was the biggest challenge for you?
Our biggest challenge in 2021 was managing our supply chain. We are proud of our team and grateful to our suppliers for keeping bicycles and components in stock throughout the year.

Did you implement any improvements that will help you in the post-covid times?
Cruzbike is a small team and we were thrilled to add one key role to help continue raising the bar in customer service for the recumbent industry.

What do you expect from 2022?
We are stoked for 2022. Our T50 cruiser will be back in stock and the V20c, the latest version of Cruzbike’s record-setting flagship Vendetta model, is launching. It boasts a lightweight carbon fiber front triangle (fork, chainstay, and boom) connecting to the aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame at a completely re-designed tapered head tube for added stiffness and improved handling. Even more stiffness is gained by using 12mm thru-axles rather than skewers to lock the wheels in place and secure the drivetrain. We can’t wait to see the records fall on this bike.

Anything else you would like to tell readers?
As ever we are blown away by how wonderful our community of Cruzbike owners is and we look forward to all of the adventures ahead!

Thank you for the interview!
